The First Sixty
Gasztonyi Kálmán's solo exhibition
The Golden Duck Gallery is happy to present "The First Sixty," an exhibition showing the life and work of Kálmán Gasztonyi. This exhibit looks back at the first sixty years of his journey as an artist.
Born in Budapest in 1964, Gasztonyi learned from great mentors who helped him love and respect art. Although he did not have formal training, he worked hard to become excellent in his craft, using both art lessons and his engineering background.
Gasztonyi began painting professionally in 1992. He has shown his work in Hungary and around the world. His art includes small paintings, large murals, and detailed mosaics, all known for their mix of traditional methods and personal creativity. He doesn't stick to one style or period; his work is always growing and changing.
"The First Sixty" is more than just a display of art—it's a celebration of Gasztonyi's dedication to creating unique and technically perfect works. Visitors can see the variety of techniques he uses, with each piece showing his love for artistic freedom. This exhibition gives a clear view of his journey and also shows how he has helped his students become confident and skilled artists.
Come celebrate the first sixty years of Kálmán Gasztonyi's life and art with us.
