In this work, I used pastels, pencil and graphite to create an abstract expression that challenges conventions. The bold red stripe in the central part of the work hides the person. Although red is the base, the foundation, like the first of the Hindu chakras - such an energy centre, uncertainty still wins. In every trace or placed typography, I strive to make the subtle line of the pencil and abstract forms tell, and record - not only the content but the countless emotions of small moments in life.

"My artistic process involves combining the pencil line with the painterly trace of oil pastels. Oil pastels with graffiti ink. Often, my drawings evolve into collages with layers of other materials, such as fragments of my old lithographs, newspaper scraps, notes, and sketches of my child.]
First I studied interior design then graphic arts and painting. I graduated with distinction from the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts.
I grew up in the working-class city of Bytom, where I was born. Now, I live in Warsaw, Poland.
As a young artist, I've exhibited my works in a few solo and group exhibitions in Poland (Katowice, Bytom) and Germany (Dortmund, Essen, Düsseldorf).
Even though life can sometimes bring unexpected changes, I have never given up my passion for art. However, I had to take a break from being a full-time artist. Recently, I started exhibiting my work again.
