Creating "Blue Hospitality" allowed me to express my appreciation for the simple but profound act of welcoming others. The abstract flowers represent the beauty and warmth that comes with opening one's home and heart to friends and family. It is my hope that this work will inspire a sense of peace and belonging in all who view it.

I'm thirty-five years old and my path to painting was not a direct one. I have a degree in information studies and library science. I worked briefly in an IT company developing speech technologies. Then I started a family and started taking care of my children. As part of my mental hygiene, in my spare time I got involved in an amateur theatre group that I started with friends. When we had to take a break during covid, my artistic urges had to find another way to express themselves. So I turned my passive admiration for the visual arts into active creation. Currently I am a mother of four, I run a home school and in my spare moments, of which there are not many, I paint.
My greatest inspiration is my children's free approach to artistic expression, naive art and the beauty of imperfection. My main subject are flowers. I use mixed media, brush pen drawing, watercolor and acrylic.
My vision is to bring simplicity and elegance to a world that is complex and too rich in visual information, and to infuse joy, peace and hope into people's hearts.
