"In my art, I delve into the interplay of structure and spontaneity, resilience and fragility, celebrating the delicate balance that defines both nature and human experience. My work often bridges themes of harmony and contrast, creating a dialogue between the rational and the intuitive.
I primarily work with the ancient technique of encaustic painting, captivated by its tactile, layered textures and the meditative process it demands. The molten wax flows under precise control, yet retains an organic unpredictability, echoing the duality of life itself. Through this medium, I explore themes such as resilience, transformation, and interconnectedness, often using natural and architectural motifs to reflect on the harmony between permanence and change.
My acrylic paintings, by contrast, embrace a freer, more intuitive approach. Using glazing techniques to build layers of translucent colors, I bring abstract organic forms to life. These compositions often evoke the mystery and beauty of nature—growth, flow, and interconnected systems—while maintaining a sense of structure and intention.
