This piece is about the resilience and inner strength that develops as we face challenges and difficulties in life – the combination of fragility with structure, to be able to stand tall, containing all the complexities, details, traumas, and still reach for the sky – to be strong while still being true, while still embracing weakness, this is what resilience means to me.
Resilience
Christina Ayer.
I am an artist, an inventor, and an entrepreneur, driven by creativity. The creative process is, for me, a way to deeply connect to others, to my inner self, and to the energy of the universe. With a combination of intuition and intent, I create abstract expressions that reach beyond the barriers of intellect and reveal to me emotions, ideas, understandings and truths that I couldn't see before.
My work is a dialogue between intuition and structure, nature and artifice, reflecting a delicate balance between material reality and higher consciousness.
Christina Ayer is a Canadian artist (graduate of McGill University, 1994) who has lived and worked in Italy for two decades, and over the decades has received international recognition for her extraordinary work in mosaic art and painting.
