The Moon is part of a series which combines the symbolism of Tarot cards and the style of Erté. Traditionally, The Moon card shows a full moon between two large towers which represent the forces of good and evil. On the two sides, it depicts a wolf and a dog, representing our animalistic nature - one is civilized, and the other is wild. A small crayfish crawls out of the pool in the middle, symbolizing the early stages of consciousness unfolding.
