Artist and illustrator Natalia Nik (Nikulina), originally from Russia and now based in Hungary, is a versatile talent with a rich educational background. Natalia received her master's degree from the Moscow State Textile University, specializing in the Faculty of Applied Arts. Later, she earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in illustration, with a focus on children's book illustration, from the prestigious Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Natalia describes her artistic journey as an intimate and confidential dialogue with the world. Through her paintings and graphics, she communicates her profound understanding of the world's harmony and diversity using the artistic language of line, form, color, light, and shadows, often imbued with symbolic meaning. She is passionate about experimenting with various techniques including acrylic, digital drawing, oil painting, watercolor, and mixed media. Her work has garnered recognition in international exhibitions and competitions, with several pieces receiving awards. Natalia's artworks grace private collections both in Russia and abroad.
