"This montage-like painting, unlike the previous ones, consists of several parts.
The whole of the work is brought together by the interior of the Pancho Arena in Felcsút.
The career and possibilities of a Hungarian little boy appear in a semicircle.
In the countryside today, a Hungarian child has two careers: either studying at home (if he can study) and being a public worker, or going abroad as a migrant.
The painting shows a detail of the Glasgow School of Art 2018 Degree Show poster, with which I symbolized the opportunity and significance to study abroad.
The importance of studying abroad has grown even more recently because the management of the majority of our domestic universities has come under the control of the ruling party. For this, the opportunity for our children to participate in the EU's Erasmus program has ended.
This painting is part of my Series of Our Act, which consists of my politically critical and socially critical artworks. "

  • Dora Stork.

"Dora Stork was selected artist in the London Art Biennale in 2023, an award-winning Hungarian painter whose art has appeared in solo and group exhibitions in the UK, Hungary, and Romania. Her work can also be found in many private collections in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Japan.
Dora describes themselves as abstract realist encaustic painter, meaning they use color in an abstract way, form in a realist way, and imbue their work with symbolic meaning. Her paintings reflect her interest in public life and social and economic processes, presenting her unique perspective on these issues. Dora aims to create dreamlike compositions that prompt the viewer to question their perceptions, with inappropriate details and strange circumstances creating a sense of familiarity.

She uses hot wax painting, an ancient technique that provides durability, vividness, and scratch resistance. Dora only uses self-made wax media, without oil or other paints. She applies layers of hot wax paint, controlling the flow and preventing the unwanted mixing of colors.
